CEO / Beyond Coffee

Ebbe Korsgaard, MSc. Sustainability and Environmental Science, Lund University – has been working with the circular economy since 2012, always exploring how waste can be turned into a resource. He’s been the CEO of Beyond Coffee since 2018, but was there from the start in 2015.

Beyond Coffee is an urban mushroom farm, based in Copenhagen, which supplies local restaurants and consumers with fresh and healthy mushrooms. The mushrooms are cultivated on various waste streams like spent coffee ground, sawdust, wheat bran and coffee husks.
